"We went this past friday and it was absolutely great! The J3 Intent played some great jazz and the ambiance couldn't be better!"

"On Friday night, the flower-filled Garfield Park Conservatory was the setting for a botanical-themed fashion show dubbed Fleurotica, the first of its kind held in the space....The event made good use of the entire Garfield Park Conservatory property, and guests could roam through all the exhibits, from the steamy atmosphere of the Palm House, where local jazz-rock band the J3 Intent performed in front of a waterfall"

"The J3 Intent provided the perfect backdrop to our annual customer appreciation party. They were lively, and yet remained in the background. Similarly, they were all very professional, yet friendly enough to be easily approachable. I must also commend them on how flexible they were given short notice. After having worked with these musicians, its obvious they really enjoy what they do and put themselves out there to ensure the enjoyment of their clients and their audience."

"The J3 Intent performed at our Volunteer Recognition Holiday Party last year.  They were very pleasant, easy to work with, and flexible in setting up the event, and their performance was perfect!  The music was great - it was just the right tempo and volume for the occasion.  It was enjoyed by everyone in our very diverse crowd.  It made the event incredibly special.  We'll definitely be calling the J3 Intent to perform at events in the future!"

"The J3 Intent have played for the Brookfield Jazz Society twice, both as
a trio and as a quartet. The BJS audience is an extremely discerning one,
and at both concerts, the energy displayed by the group was phenomenal.
The J3 Intent take a tune, pull it apart and reinvent it in such a way that the
music sounds even better than the original (unless of course the tune is one
of their own compositions). Justin Gruby's saxophone playing is just superb
and the band is also complemented by his skill on the conga drums. David
Schwartz's guitar intertwines extremely well with both Justin's sax playing
and an exciting rhythm section of Jeff Rendlen on bass and Jason Haaheim
at the drums. I'm looking forward to the J3 Intent appearing again at our Society."

"We certainly enjoyed having the J3 Intent at our 2006 homecoming event. As the person responsible for overseeing all aspects of the event for our University, I very much appreciated working with you – you made the process easy and our participants truly enjoyed your music! We received many positive comments about your music!"
